As a Dry Cleaning Presser, you will be responsible for ensuring garments are impeccably pressed and presented by operating both manual and automated pressing equipment. This role requires handling a high volume of garments daily, maintaining strict quality and safety standards to deliver top-quality dry cleaning services. We will train the right person, paying you as you learn, and then giving you a raise within 4 weeks as you grow your skills.
This is part-time and you will enjoy a fixed schedule, so you have steady hours on a regular basis. In summer, you can expect 4 hours min. per day, 5 days a week. In season (Oct. - May), you can expect about 5 - 8 hours per day, 5 days a week. You must be able to commit to 3 days a week at minimum.
Training pay is $15/hr. In 4-6 weeks, if you follow the training, the pay increases to $17 - $20 depending upon your quality and productivity. You get an equal share of tips (about $55/month or more), you can win employee of the week as many times as you earn it ($25), and we pay an annual bonus based on your performance, store profits and quality ratings. Bonuses can range up to several hundred dollars, and get paid in the March-April timeframe.
