Lead Server (Full-Time / Key Holder)
Taste of Himalayas – St. Charles, IL
Taste of Himalayas, a Nepalese and Indian restaurant, is seeking a reliable, experienced Lead Server to help oversee front-of-house operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can lead by example during both lunch and dinner service.

Position Overview
The Lead Server is responsible for managing daily front-of-house flow, supporting staff, and ensuring high-quality service standards are consistently met. You will act as the point person during shifts and help maintain a smooth, efficient dining experience.

Schedule
Lunch Service:
Tuesday – Sunday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
(Closed Mondays)
Dinner Service:
Tuesday – Thursday: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Friday – Saturday: 4:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Sunday: 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Responsibilities
• Lead front-of-house service during lunch and dinner shifts
• Ensure smooth operation of service flow and guest experience
• Train and support servers and support staff
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service

Qualifications
• 2+ years of serving experience (lead or supervisory experience preferred)
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
• Availability for both lunch and dinner shifts

Preferred Experience
• Experience with Nepalese and/or Indian cuisine strongly preferred
• Familiarity with traditional dishes, spices, and dining styles is a plus
