Job Description
E-Z Electric is seeking a Generator Technician to join our expanding team operating around the Metro Detroit area.
If you are highly skilled in troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing critical power equipment, YOU may be just who we are looking for!
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform preventative maintenance on standby generator systems.
Perform routine generator maintenance to include oil and filter changes, fuel filter change, and cooling system services.
Troubleshoot and repair gas engines.
Troubleshoot electrical circuit boards.
Troubleshoot complete electrical systems.
Work with customers on a one-on-one basis.
Complete and submit work orders and reports.
Prepare accurate quotes for repairs.
Maintain truck inventory.
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED.
Generac Certified
Training on Automatic Transfer Switches.
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
