What You Can Expect:

• Earn a competitive hourly wage of $30 to $40 per hour, with experienced tile setters typically starting around $35 per hour and higher pay based on journeyman-level experience.
• Receive weekly pay through direct deposit, with overtime opportunities available for team members who want additional hours.
• Access prevailing-wage projects that can pay up to $76 per hour when available.
• Work safely with company-provided equipment, including Red Wing boots and ProKnee kneepads.
• Enjoy occasional travel opportunities with employer-covered hotel and travel expenses.

What You Will Do:

• Install commercial tile, stone, marble, granite, luxury vinyl tile, vinyl composition tile, and other flooring finishes with exceptional attention to layout, fit, finish, and durability.
• Prepare surfaces through proper waterproofing, substrate evaluation, demolition support, repairs, and material preparation before installation begins.
• Complete grouting, punch-out lists, detailed repairs, and final finishing work that meets project specifications and client expectations.
• Read blueprints and work scopes to plan efficient installation methods, material needs, and quality-control steps.
• Collaborate with foremen, project teams, carpenters, and other trades while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.

Required Qualifications:

• You have proven professional experience as a Journeyman Tile Setter, Tile Installer, Flooring Installer, or commercial finish construction professional.
• You can accurately read blueprints, follow scope requirements, and execute detailed commercial installation work independently.
• You bring hands-on knowledge of waterproofing, grouting, tile layout, surface preparation, and punch-list completion.
• You have reliable transportation, a dependable attendance record, and the ability to perform physical construction work safely.
• You take pride in craftsmanship, communicate respectfully, and contribute positively to a hardworking team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with hardwood flooring, laminate, vinyl installation, cabinet installation, siding, stucco, acoustical ceilings, crown molding, or home repair is valued.
• Knowledge of PVC materials, demolition, finish carpentry, or broader commercial construction practices will help you succeed across varied projects.
