Personal Injury/General Practice law firm seeks a legal secretary/paralegal for its Staten Island office. Must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with attorneys. Must be personable, detail oriented, and able to multitask.
Candidates must be computer proficient (Microsoft Word). Preference will be given to candidates who reside in Staten Island. Experience in the fields of Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Real Estate and Estate Planning are a plus but are not required.
Responsibilities will include client contact/telephones, assisting with the preparation of legal documents including Real Estate contracts and closing documents, Estate planning documents and legal pleadings, calendar management, as well as collection of medical records and processing of No-Fault claims.
Salary commensurate with experience.
